The first part of this convoy trip is under the leadership of Anthony Spinks of Tassie Tagalong and 4WD Tours. Anthony met the group at the Melbourne ferry at Devonport. They then headed for the west coast for a week of adventure and great 4 wheel driving. There was the beach run to Sandy Cape – sometimes treacherous and hazardous. This was followed by the Balfour Track, more beach driving along Ahrberg Bay and the wonderful old rail track to Montezuma Falls through tall forest and fern-clad cuttings. The final part of Anthony's tour was through old growth rainforest and heath vegetation along the Sawback Range Track.

With Anthony's part of the trip complete the group visited the east coast. They enjoyed the history of Port Arthur, the forests of the Tahune Air Walk, the natural beauty of Wineglass Bay and fishing and relaxing at St Helens. The tour concluded with a visit to Cradle Mountain, an inspiring experience to complete any Tasmanian adventure.

Heavy going and spectacular four wheel driving, with an emphasis on fishing, cooking and history are the name of the game. All this within some of the most amazing scenery Australia can offer. A video for young and old, for explorers and adventurers at heart. A must have in any collection.

Four vehicles and 2 motor bikes travel the Old Telegraph Track and the CREB Track. Along the way they experience the challenges of Gunshot Creek and Canal Creek and the spectacular beauty of Elliot and Twin Falls.

Gunshot Creek provides perhaps the most iconic, difficult and spectacular 4wd challenges known in Australia, with it's sheer vertical drops and muddy bottom. See how different vehicles including trailers and motorbikes handle the various challenges and creek crossings.

There's plenty of fishing action at Vrilya Point, Weipa and Cape Bedford. Hauls and hauls of tropical fish are snared, but will the group catch the famous barramundi?
