On March 7th we were kindly invited down to the Shire Hall in Chelmsford to accept an award in appreciation of the work we put into making their promotional dvd. The video itself was projected onto the big screen for all to see, and was well received with plenty of excellent feedback. The extensive buffet and wine added to an already brilliant night.

We are proud to announce that Lifestyle Video Productions has just won a best documentary award in Australia for our 'Devil's Playground' Tasmania DVD.
The Australian Video Producers Association selected our DVD for the Best Documentary with a budget of under $50,000.
We also had another finalist with a fishing charters promotional DVD in the Corporate category. All in all a very successful evening.

The Essex Experience is a summer camp for 11-14 year old children run by the Essex Scouts. It's unique in that it only accepts children with social and learning problems, due to difficult school and home lives.
These children can be a handful so volunteers from the wider Essex community are brought on site, trained for a week and then spend the weekend with the kids, acting as mentors and positive role models.
This training course is award winning for its techniques in leadership, team building, first aid and child protection, and Lifestyle Video was brought in to prepare a promotional dvd to show off these attributes. Scouting Deputy County Commissioner Justin Mullender has offered these words after seeing the final product:
"…I wanted to quickly thank you for the superb job you've done in relaying the story of how the volunteers contribute to The Essex Experience project. You've captured a great sense of what the volunteers get out of the project and reflected some great personal journeys that will help to promote the project to future volunteers!"
Feel free to view a demo of the finished product.
